Why hot water is the whole difference
The smell in a trash bin is bacteria digesting the food film stuck to the walls, and bacteria don't care about cold water. Our system hits the bin interior with 200°F water that kills the bacteria, dissolves the grease layer, and lifts off what's been baking in there since summer started. A deodorizing treatment finishes it. The result isn't a masked smell; it's no smell.
